Under the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), the 44th Deep Dive Training of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) was conducted as part of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology’s (MeitY) Cyber Surakshit Bharat Initiative.

Key Highlights:

  • The NeGD organized the 44th CISO Deep-Dive training programme at the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi.
  • Participants hailed from states including Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and New Delhi.
  • The training aimed to equip CISOs with comprehensive knowledge of cyber-attacks, exposure to cutting-edge security technologies, and insights into formulating cyber security policies and crisis management plans.
  • Initiated in 2018, the training programme marked a pioneering public-private partnership (PPP) model, involving collaboration between government bodies and industry consortia.

  • By capacitating CISOs and frontline IT officials, the initiative ensures robust defense against cyber threats and fosters readiness for future challenges in digital security.
