Tamil Nadu Governor Okays Re-Adopted Bill Against Online Gambling
Context:
Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi inked the re-adopted Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Bill, 2022 on Monday. (L.A. Bill No. 53 of 2022). Chief Minister M.K. Stalin described the assent as a “good consequence” of the Assembly’s earlier resolution on the Governor. The Governor had already returned the Bill, which the Assembly re-adopted and submitted to the Raj Bhavan.
